Alicia Mackie

Alicia Mackie is a 2004 Graduate of The University of Alabama, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor concentration in African American Studies. Alicia was part of the initial year of the Parker-Adams Program at The University. While there, she studied and lived in an environment that focused primarily on academic achievement but also encouraged leadership, service learning, and engagement in both the University and Tuscaloosa communities.

 In 2015, Alicia was named one of the Women Who Shape the State for Alabama by the Alabama Media Group.

Alicia was brought on as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for TAP, by Chris Rogers in July 2013. Her communication and organizational skills have proven to be great assets to TAP.

Chris Rogers 

Chris A. Rogers is the CEO of TAP,Inc. Chris received his Bachelor’s degree in Consumer Affairs and Master’s in Hospitality Management from The University of Alabama. He has served in Marketing and Coordinating roles throughout his career, with IMG Academics and Under Armour. Chris has worked with a number of professional athletes, including: Julio Jones, Ray Lewis, Cam Netwon and Marcell Dareus. In 2014, he was named one of Mobile Bay’s Forty Under 40, and was a part of Steve Harvey’s Mentor Program in Dallas, TX during that same year. In 2015, Rogers was awarded the Non-Profit Leader of the Year at the Best in Minority Business Awards in Birmingham AL and was named one of the Forty Under 40 for Non-profits, on a national level.

Marquis Heath

Marquis Heath graduated with a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies (University of Alabama); and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (Meharry Medical College). He currently resides in Alpine, AL where he enjoys running, music, photo/video editing, and investing. He feels it is important to increase the awareness of the implications of large salaries and short careers.

Tim Finnigan

Tim Finnigan is the President of TAP. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts: Radio, TV, and Film from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is currently the Director of Seymour Sports/Broadcaster at Seymour TV. In the words of Tim, "I truly believe that learning and understanding the value of giving back to others is vital to instill in our youth. Everyone has the ability to do something great with their gifts and lives, but it must always start with inspiration. By setting an example for others, we have an opportunity to inspire and empower others to make a difference."

Desyree Dixon

Desyree Dixon is the Vice President of TAP. She graduated with a B.A. from Georgetown University & M.S. from the University of Maryland. She currently resides in Long Island, NY. In the words of Dixon, "The lessons TAP teaches about financial management will serve young athletes well for the rest of their lives, whether or not they play professionally."
